2020 will be remembered as one of the most extraordinary times in modern human history. Never have we been more connected yet divided. We are all fighting our own battles yet now united against a common enemy. 

In times of turbulence I try to find balance by reminding myself of the ancient taoist philosophy of the five elements. Taoism believes that the world is made up of five elements and that they are all interdependent upon eachother. Metal feeds water, water grows wood, wood fuels fire, fire creates earth, and earth grows metal. 

Regardless of how advanced the human species becomes, we need to remember that we are part of a greater system. We all have the ability to find harmony within ourselves, with others, and with nature.
